1. Information We Do Not Collect

• No Personal Data Collection: Drop Net does not collect, process, or store personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location data on external servers.
  
  
• No Transferred File Storage: All file transfers occur directly between local devices (peer-to-peer / device-to-device). Your photos, videos, documents, and other files are never uploaded to, routed through, or stored on any remote cloud servers or third-party databases.
  
  

2. Device Permissions Required and How They Are Used

To facilitate local file transfers and device connections, Drop Net requests access to specific device features:

• Storage / Photos and Videos Access: Required solely to allow you to select files, photos, videos, or documents from your device and save received files locally.
  
  
• Camera Access: Required to scan QR codes for establishing quick connections between nearby devices. The camera is not used to capture or store personal photos or videos.
  
  
• Location / Nearby Devices / WiFi / Hotspot Access: Required by the Android operating system to detect nearby WiFi/Hotspot networks and discover local devices for peer-to-peer connection. We do not track or record your actual physical location.
  
  

3. Third-Party Services

Drop Net does not use third-party analytics tools or tracking technologies that track individual users across apps or websites. (Note: If you incorporate third-party SDKs like Google AdMob in the future, their respective privacy policies will apply).

4. Data Security

Because all transfers happen over a local network connection (direct WiFi or Hotspot) and files do not pass through remote servers, your files remain strictly between the sender and receiver.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
